Pin It, Sew It Challenge

I have been meaning to write up this post for a while, but Sew Mama Sew Giveaway day has been a major distraction for me! If you haven't entered yet, my giveaway is here. Please make sure and check your blogger page everyone. I have at least a dozen people who have entered without an email linked.

Anyway I was able to get this Dresden Petal purse done last month, using scraps from my solid love quilt. Yes, this is another shameless plug for my quilt that I love so much. :)

Here is the purse. I found the FREE tutorial on Quality Time. She used 7 Dresden petals per side, and I used 10. I also did not use a plate to curve the opening anymore, I thought it was already curved enough. I did however make up another set of orange and pink Dresdens to have pockets inside my purse.
