Anyway I was able to get this Dresden Petal purse done last month, using scraps from my solid love quilt. Yes, this is another shameless plug for my quilt that I love so much. :)
Here is the purse. I found the FREE tutorial on Quality Time. She used 7 Dresden petals per side, and I used 10. I also did not use a plate to curve the opening anymore, I thought it was already curved enough. I did however make up another set of orange and pink Dresdens to have pockets inside my purse.
And now I can take a little quilt replica with me wherever I go. Linking up with Alyssa at Pile O' Fabric. She has a Pin It, Sew It Challenge the first of every month. I hope you all decide to join in next month, and finally sew some of the countless projects you have pinned on Pinterest! Happy Sewing!

Love both your beautiful quilt and purse...thanks for the link for the tutorial!
LOVE the purse!! Love it. Love it. Love it!! Do you get all kinds of compliments on it? Has anyone tried to swipe it? Because I would. I'd give back all the stuff inside and just keep the purse. No one would ever suspect me...
This purse is so pretty!!! I love it, almost as much as your quilt :)
